
IT TECHNICIAN L1
What does an IT Technician 1 do?
- Troubleshoot computer and basic network problems
- Provide L1 help desk support
- Setup new workstations/laptops/mobile devices
- Provide basic Active Directory user administration
- Provide excellent written documentation and properly communicate escalations
- Liaison with 3rd party vendors in order to support the customer
- Adapt quickly to changing responsibilities and take ownership of other projects as assigned
- Above all, work with team members to ensure a positive internal and external customer experience
Are you a fit for this role? We are seeking someone with a proven track record in the following:
- Experience in a technical support role
- History in working with Windows 7 and up
- Understanding of basic network concepts and computer hardware
- Experience with backup solutions and concepts
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining organization even when things are hectic
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
- Highly desired: Experience in an IT Services company (aka Managed Service Provider)
